Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This policy explains how Zstoryline processes information when creators connect TikTok and export selected videos through TikTok’s official APIs.
1. Information we process
We may process your TikTok Open ID, public profile name, OAuth authorization scopes, access and refresh tokens, creator-selected video files, post settings, captions, and technical publishing status. We never collect your TikTok password.
2. How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate your account, display the correct creator identity and available posting options, transfer content you explicitly approve, and report publishing status. We do not sell personal data or build advertising profiles.
3. Storage and security
During local development, credentials are kept in protected local configuration. In the hosted service, OAuth data is stored in secure, encrypted, HTTP-only sessions. Secrets are not embedded in videos or exposed in the browser interface.
4. Video transfers
A video is sent to TikTok only after you select the file, review its preview and account, confirm your media rights, and provide explicit transfer consent. You may send it to TikTok Inbox for final editing or use Direct Post after choosing metadata, privacy, interactions, and disclosures.
5. Third parties
Zstoryline uses TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API. TikTok processes information under its own privacy policy. Video-generation or licensed-media providers may have separate policies.
6. Retention and deletion
You may revoke TikTok access at any time. Local files remain under your control. You may request deletion of hosted account information by emailing support@zstoryline.be.
7. Your choices
You control which account and video are used, all post metadata, and whether an export occurs. Zstoryline does not silently publish content.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact support@zstoryline.be.
